Welcome to the website for Dr. Linnea Lei, a Licensed Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in serving those in the Flagstaff community.

Dr. Linnea Lei has more than 30 years of experience in health services.  She has 16 years of experience in Speech and Language Pathology and 16 years of experience in Psychology.  Her diverse background and experience allow her to provide outstanding psychological services to members of the Flagstaff community.  Her training in medically based conditions and psychological issues give her a comprehensive understanding to help utilize therapies, which maximize the mind/body connection.
Dr. Lei earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech and Language Pathology from Arizona State University.  After graduating, she assisted adult patients who had suffered strokes and traumatic brain injuries to improve their speech and language abilities at both Good Samaritan Hospital and Phoenix General Hospital.  She has also worked as a Speech and Language Pathologist for children and adolescents within the Phoenix school system and in Chicago for the La Grange Area District of Special Education.  Earning her Doctoral Degree from Northern Arizona University, Dr. Lei graduated with honors and became licensed in Psychology in 1993.  She then opened a private practice in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Dr. Lei is dedicated to enhancing her clinical skills for the benefit of her clients.  She completed the hypnosis training program through the Milton H. Erickson Foundation and became certified in Clinical Hypnosis in 2004 through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.  She became an Approved Consultant for Clinical Hypnosis in 2009.  She has also been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  She integrates these techniques to help clients deal with depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, stress management, pain management, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other clinical issues.
